Multiple workshops are offered throughout Oregon

OBSERVE & CO-TRAIN

Observe an OIS workshop to see an instructor in action. Then, enhance your skills by co-training at least 2 times with seasoned instructors. In these sessions, you’ll receive valuable feedback on your teaching style, grasp of the material, and classroom management abilities.

By actively engaging with a mentor, you position yourself to become a more effective educator, ultimately benefitting participants and enhancing their learning experience.

FINAL EVALUATION

This is the last step on your journey to becoming an instructor. You will facilitate an OIS workshop while a reviewer carries out a thorough evaluation to assess your overall performance.

If you achieve proficient scores across all areas, you will earn your certification as an instructor.
