SB710

In accordance with Oregon Law, we publish quarterly reports on the use of restraints in our Children’s Programs. Although every effort is made to prevent utilizing Protective Physical Interventions (also known as physical restraints, or restraints), when a child’s behavior poses a threat of imminent serious bodily injury to the child or others and less restrictive interventions would not effectively reduce that risk, a protective physical intervention may be necessary. Our staff are specially trained on the safe use of protective physical intervention through the Oregon Intervention System. These quarterly reports can be found at: https://www.oregon.gov/odhs/licensing/childrens-care-agencies/pages/sb710.aspx
