Brief Profile

Alternative Services-Oregon, Inc. was awarded the OIS contract in 2012. Alternative Services Inc. (ASI) began as an agency in Michigan in 1978. Since that time, the company has expanded too many states. ASI-Oregon shares a national Board of Directors with the other state programs. The parent company of ASI is Community Living Concepts (CLC). Other programs supervised by the Board of Directors are ASI-Michigan, ASI-Connecticut, ASI-North East in Maine, Community Living Concepts-North Carolina, and Community Living Case Management (CLCM) in Oregon.

Alternative Services has provided services to consumers in Oregon since 1989. We are highly experienced in the provision of services to consumers in multiple sites throughout the state. At the present time, the agency provides services in seven counties: Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, Linn, Benton, Lane and Jackson, as well as contracts with the State of Oregon for services for children.

 OIS Team

Pat Allen-Sleeman, Executive Director ASI/CLCM Director/OIS Contract, Chief Operating Officer CLC. Pat has worked as the Executive Director for ASI since 1992. She has worked in the I/DD field in many capacities for 36 years and is actively involved within the state advocating for person-centered supports.

Scott Sleeman, Clinical Director ASI, National Clinical Director CLC, Project Manager OIS. Scott has worked as the Clinical Director for ASI since 1995. He has worked in the I/DD field in many clinical capacities for 36 years and has been an OIS-Steering Committee member since 1996 and an OIS Instructor since 1995.

Carole Searle, Assistant Clinical Director ASI, Schools OIS Project Manager. Carole has worked as the Assistant Clinical Director since 2010. She has worked in the I/DD field as a Behavior Consultant and in many other capacities for 14 years. She has been an OIS-Steering Committee member since 2010 and an OIS Instructor since 2001.
